In 1869, John and Hannah traveled by ship from Liverpool to New York on their way to Utah. They traveled with Sarah (age 15), Joseph (age 12), and Rose Jr. (age 9).
Descendants
- Mary Ann and her family lived for about 10 years in American Fork, and later settled in Riverton.
