Descendants

John William Whiting was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and invited his brothers-in-law Nathaniel Ludlow and James Huish to learn about it. Helen did not want her husband to go, but while he was gone prayed and heard a voice telling her it was true. The two couples were baptized and joined the church in 1843.

Helen, Mary Ann, and their families migrated to Utah County, Utah with the Latter-day Saints. The Huish family traveled there in 1859-1861, and the Ludlows joined them in 1878.

Thirza immigrated to Massachusetts with her husband and some of her children around 1870.

Edwin and Thomas spent their lives with their families in Gloucestershire.

William married a Welsh woman, Mary Ann Brew, and moved to Wales.

Richard Hopkins moved to London and raised a family there with Mary Ann Baker.

Isabella married George Cox and raised her family in Halifax.
